So I was rewatching Good omens and I realized something.
Season 2 brings up Memory. A lot
Specifically Crowleys memory
In every episode something is said about it and I find this really interesting
I’m only going to bring up what I think are major, I want to note there are more instances than this. This is gonna be messy and a little disorganized since I’m just throwing my words on this post as I think of them and read the episode transcripts but I had to write it out.
In Episode 1 we see pre-fall Crowley and are introduced to our amnesiac archangel. This will be important later
We don’t see much of Crowleys memory loss in this episode but the biggest example I could find was the way Beelzebub had said Extreme Sanctions after Crowley misunderstood
It was as if they were expecting him to remember
In Episode 2 we get the first blatant hint of Crowleys memory loss
When Gabriel said he couldn’t remember, Crowley doesn’t say “Well try anyway”
He says “Yes you can.”
Crowley knew Gabriel could remember, he knew he could make himself remember. As if he knew it from experience.
Also in this episode we get Crowleys “I’m a demon, I lied.” As well as several other instances where he lies in this episode.
I also feel like his “Lonliness” is important to point out, because I feel like that goes much much deeper than “[I’m on] my side”
In Episode 3 we get Crowley and Gabriel’s Conversation about “Gravity”
Crowley knows what gravity is on a base level. But he says “I don’t remember” when asked why gravity exists and proceeds to give a very nondescript explanation
Now for Episode 4. This episode is actually what triggered me to start looking for these instances.
Because of Furfur
Near the end of the episode when Furfur enters the dressing room he mentions that him and Crowley were directly next to eachother during the Great War, as well as the fact Crowley used to jump on his back “Like a little monkey in a waistcoat”
And Crowley didn’t remember
All he remembered was going to war
Why does Furfur — A demon — remember but Crowley doesn’t?
In Episode 5 we get one of the most crucial ‘memory’ scenes imo
The aftermath of Crowley threatening Gabriel
When Gabriel tells Crowley “It hurts to remember, my head isn’t built for that” Crowley replies with “I know, do it anyway”
Again it sounds like Crowley is speaking from experience
The most important quote to me though is when Crowley says “I know, looking at where the furniture isn’t.”
Because after the fact he proceeds to ask Gabriel if he wants a hot chocolate
This wasn’t a sympathetic action. It was Empathetic.
He feels for Gabriel, he knows what it’s like to not know
Finally in Episode 6 we get context.
This is where the whole amnesiac archangel comes into play.
Before I get into that though I want to bring up Crowleys meeting with Saraquael. Because something interesting stood out to me while reading her voicelines. After Crowley asks “Do we know eachother?” Saraquael says “When you were an Angel” and pauses before she says the following voiceline “We worked together on the horsehead nebula”
Those were two different sentences. I’m definitely looking too far into this but to me it sounded like she knew he wouldn’t remember so she gave unnecessary context. This as well as the fact she didn’t respond when Crowley essentially said he didn’t remember her.
Back to my original point though, during this episode we finally learn how (and why) Gabriel lost his memories. Angels can remove their own memories as well as have their memories removed by other angels.
But clearly Furfur still has his memories, as well as Shax, Dagon, and Beelzebub
And anytime Crowley mentions “remembering” something it’s post-fall
Adding on Neil’s post about “Crowley not being a reliable narrator on his fall” as well as showing Crowley pre-fall in episode one leads me to believe there’s some foreshadowing in there and something happened to Crowleys memory.
But What?
Why doesn’t he remember?
What did they do to him?

Is attachment always bad?
All the discourse about attachment being love or not and the “greater good” in the SW fandom has gotten me thinking about Ben 10. Specifically the Ultimate Kevin and Dagon arcs from Ultimate Alien. I sort of used the former as a pro attachment story in a discussion with a pro Jedi blog a while back, that I since deleted. It can definitely be read as a rebuttal of “kill one person for the greater good” and both arcs are an example of love saving someone from evil.
The Ultimate Kevin arc is one of the most controversial in the show, particularly Ben’s decision to kill Kevin with there being a lot of debate over whether it was OOC for him to do so. Ben is normally the Luke type character who tries to save everyone with Kevin and Gwen being the Han and Leia of the group. However, after repeatedly failing against Aggregor which led to Kevin having to absorb the ultimatrix, driving him insane and causing him to go on a rampage, Ben believes destroying Kevin is what’s best, blaming himself for Kevin mutating and Grandpa Max, who’s the Obi Wan/Uncle Ben type mentor in this show, agrees with it as the only “responsible move”.
Gwen, who’s Ben’s cousin and Kevin’s girlfriend, is the only one with faith in him and wants to save him. Talking to him fails but she is able to enlist the help of their friends to build a machine to cure Kevin. Her love for Kevin was what saved his life as Ben was prepared to kill him after a brutal battle and she managed to convince him to let her try. Kevin was cured, he and Ben quickly reconciled and the aliens Aggregor had absorbed who Kevin drained the power from were also restored to life. Some could say this wasn’t attachment but Gwen’s love for Kevin saved his as well as multiple lives despite everyone telling her to let him die for the “greater good”.
The other arc in question is the Dagon arc. Once again, Ben is faced with a test of spirit. Vilgax, who’s kind of like the emperor in this story, tries to manipulate Ben into using the sword, Ascalon, and the power of Dagon he absorbed to remake the universe in his image. Wipe out anyone he sees as evil. One could use the “greater good” argument to say he should destroy all evil, but what would that do to one’s soul? Ben does end up letting go of the power but he does that because of his love for the people in his life.
youtube
Julie, his girlfriend, gets him to stop and think about what he’s doing, pointing out that he can’t force his answers on everyone. Ben reflects on his journey throughout Alien Force/Ultimate Alien and the people he’s met along the way. Making his decision, he only uses the power to turn the esoterica back to human and rejects it. Had he abused the sword, he could have become a dictator, obsessed with order, but his love for his girlfriend, cousin and best friend convinced him to let go and realize he can’t strip free will from anyone, even the villains.
Some will respond that these are examples of selfless love and not attachment but are they really? Gwen was willing to throw her life away to save Kevin despite him attacking their friends and becoming extremely dangerous. Julie’s refusal to let Ben be corrupted was what saved him. People will say attachment isn’t love and it’s selfishness. One could argue Julie and Gwen were being selfish but were doing so because they didn’t want their partners to be executed or corrupted. Watching this as well as movies like Weathering With You and Across The Spider-verse begs the questions, is attachment always just greedy and can it save people’s lives or souls? And is it really fair to sacrifice one person who may mean everything to someone else to save the world?

I don't think an abundance of demon x angel couples would actually have to come from god "intending" them to hook up, personally I think they'd just sort of be liable to happen extremely often if heaven and hell didn't have a purely adversarial mentality towards one another 99% of the time
mostly because the organizations are mirrors of each other, which means a lot of demons and angels are going to find their equal-and-opposite in similar figures from the other side of the tracks, as it were
like gabriel and beelzebub basically had the same job, and that's a big part of what they bonded over. the same job plus very similar natures and experiences. despite supposedly being antithetical to one another, demons and angels are fundamentally not that different, and with the rigid hierarchies of heaven and hell, their best chances of finding equals who understand them is in looking to their opposites in the other big supernatural organization out there
crowley and aziraphale have had the same job for six millennia. one angel, one demon, the only ones around with that job, and thus comparable experiences and worldviews. even though they obviously liked one another even before that, it's shaped their bond a lot
gabriel and beelzebub get to talking and abruptly realize that they both don't actually care about their jobs or causes, and would throw it all away for the chance to be with someone they really connect with
michael and dagon lock eyes and they are the only two people in that room who have basically the same position as one another. high-ranking but not supreme, subject to the whims and terror of a manipulative overlord (satan or metatron, different styles but same results), both wanting the war to happen so that they get on with things - it's no wonder that dagon is willing to take a cue from michael
muriel and eric SHOULD be friends, actually. they can bond over secretarial work and being treated like garbage
and I bet sandalphon and hastur would be bros too. ligur also if he wasn't... y'know. melted

S1E6 – The Very Last Day of the Rest of Their Lives P1 - up to the dissolution of the Horsemen
Well can you believe it? The last episode of the first season! And the first thing I want to make a note of is… the episode title. I really struggle to make sense of it because, linguistically, the only way something can be the very last of the rest of anything, is if it’s the very last of the thing at all. I can sort of make this idea make sense if I look at it from the perspective of the end of episode 5, where Armageddon is starting, and it does very much look like the world is about to end on that particular day, but it feels pretty woolly to me. Neil has been asked about this particular episode title before, but his answer did not help me wrap my head around the concept. In fact, it just made things worse:
Nope. No, I’m sorry, but that makes literally no sense. Anyway, I don’t want to get hung up on the little details... Hey, didja notice how Crowley (aka Aziraphale) greets his trial panel in exactly the same way as he greets Hastur and Ligur in the graveyard?
And that throw away line about getting some houseplants is pretty telling when you remember that it’s actually Aziraphale delivering that line (oh, spoiler alert there I guess, but I would have thought that anybody reading this far into the labyrinth of my brain wanderings is probably going to have seen this show at least once before). It shows that Aziraphale knows exactly what the inside of Crowley’s flat contains, and that the only thing he would care about enough to actually furnish a space is houseplants. One thing I do question though, is how Aziraphale would know who Hastur and Dagon are. He definitely would have known who Beelzebub is, saw her on the tarmac at the airbase in fact, but those two? I don’t know when he would have come into contact with them before, particularly in their demon forms. Crowley could have given him a description of as many of the named demons as possible I suppose, but it’s a bit thin as a theory goes. But more curious is presence of the montage at this point in the episode.
It’s just short of 7 seconds long, and takes place less than 2 minutes into the episode. It also happens to contain the entire storyline for the episode in reverse. Shots of Aziraphale (Crowley really) tied up in Heaven, Aziraphale and Crowley in the park together, the Bentley and book shop in their respective restored state, Adam with Aziraphale and Crowley complete with wings, Satan breaking through the tarmac – it’s all there. It even comes complete with those fuzzy little lines that you used to see when you were rewinding a video back in the days of VHS (yes, I do actually remember that) to show that we’re watching events in reverse. It’s not like we haven’t seen montages used to represent the passing of time in this show before, but this is the first time it’s been done with parts of the story that we, the audience, haven’t yet seen. It goes by pretty fast so it’s not like you’d be able to work out the plot by watching it in real time, but I think it’s a risky play nonetheless.
Next curious thing in this episode. The music playing from Crowley’s Bentley as he approaches the gates of the airbase is different to what we heard in the previous episode. It’s the same song, but it’s a different section. Not only that, but the music continues playing from inside the car after he closes the door, whereas in the previous episode the slamming of the door cuts the stream of music off abruptly. There is nothing else different about this rendition of the scene from the one at the end of the previous episode as far as I can see but it’s a subtle difference that I find interesting, especially when you consider how many of the beings involved in the events leading up to Armageddon come to have somewhat blurry memories of what happened.
I have to say, the depth of Crowley’s grief at the loss of the Bentley came as something as a surprise to me when I first watched this show.
It’s true, we’ve seen him driving the car a fair amount in this season, and we saw him repairing the dents and other assorted damages following his collision with Anathema in episode 2, we even saw him giving it a pep talk as he willed it through the flames in the previous episode, but he talks about it here almost like a pet.
You were a good car.
But if I was surprised at Crowley’s response to the Bentley’s demise, I was more surprised at Aziraphale’s refusal to allow the demon to grieve purely because he still thinks of himself as “the nice one”. Well, mate, for someone who’s supposed to be inherently “nice”, you aren’t showing an awful lot of compassion here, and towards the being in the whole of existence that means the most to you too. Honestly, there are a lot of times I have been quite forgiving (no pun intended) of the angel’s behaviour because he genuinely believes in his own goodness, but I struggle with this. WHY IS HE BEING SUCH A PRICK? And who said he had to send the soldier anywhere (complete with magical miracle noise, in case you missed it), or harm him in any way? He could just have miracled the gun away, or slid him into unconsciousness like Death and Adam have already done with entire groups of soldiers. Is he just so used to Crowley doing all the footwork in situations like these that he’s lost the ability to think for himself? Or is it that him being “the nice one” is part of their agreed partnership, and that’s the role that the two of them have agreed he will play, not because that’s what he inherently is, but because that’s what makes the most sense and would usually be the most comfortable role play for them? Perhaps it really is the latter, because it’s not too long before we see Crowley make a conscious decision to resume the role that he is being expected to play.
I can’t help but feel like the incoherent noises that Crowley makes are his attempt at trying to ask Aziraphale to deal with this next group of soldiers because he’s not done grieving. I should think he knows he’s pushed his luck on that front a bit too far when his bumbling is greeted with this look from Aziraphale/Madame Tracy:
That is the face of woman/man/angel that is not to be dicked about with. And he knows it, giving himself a pep talk and asserting his position in a way that almost makes it sound like it was his idea in the first place. Almost.
Side note: there are a couple of lines missing from the original script here that I feel very sore that we didn’t get to see:
CROWLEY: Aren’t you going to introduce me to your new body? MADAME TRACY/AZIRAPHALE: Yes. Right. Madame Tracy, this is Crowley. He’s… Well, we’re sort of business associates.
Sad as I am that we didn’t get to see those lines, the tirade of double entendre from Aziraphale telling Shadwell to brandish his weapon so that they can “lick butt” almost makes up for their absence. Watching Crowley’s physical reaction because of his choice of words goes the rest of the way.
It’s interesting that he manages to use this phrase at all, even if it not only looks but sounds as if he’s about to throw up; he couldn’t even bring himself to say the word “Heaven” when he was screaming in the book shop earlier that same day.
Quick note about R.P. Tyler: this really is one strange little individual. He seems to think that a child causing damage to some plants is equivalent to that same child waltzing into a highly classified military air base. Eejit.
We’re taking a quick visit to the soundscape again, inclusive of an Easter egg. I am in no way surprised at the use of a harmonica at the beginning of this scene, particularly given the stage directions provided in the script:
The feeling here is spaghetti western.
I am not of the age that I would remember the original film and scene that this is clearly an homage to (the “Man With a Harmonica” stand-off scene from Once Upon a Time in the West), but I have been to my fair share of Muse concerts (I think I’m in double figures now), listening to the “Man With a Harmonica”, to get the reference. A tribute to the original piece was also used in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, again as a backdrop for a stand-off. I have absolutely no doubt that David Arnold’s treatment of the Omens theme tune in this way was intended as both atmospheric and as a pastiche of a piece of music that is arguably the most well-known of all spaghetti Western soundtracks.
Do you remember how I waffled on about the parallels between the members of The Them and the Horsemen? Well, in case you weren’t sure about that being a thing, or maybe just hadn’t cottoned on yet, this shot should spell it out loud and clear for you:
It’s interesting to see the character development that Aziraphale has gone through since his realisation that Heaven is perhaps not as “Good” as it portrays itself to be when we see him taking control of Shadwell’s gun to kill the Antichrist with, something which he has adamantly declared that he would be unable to do previously.
Crowley’s stance on the other hand appears not to have changed at all – he’s more than happy to support the decision to end the life of an 11-year-old boy in order to save the world, just so long as he’s not the one pulling the trigger. In fact, he not only supports that course of action, he vehemently chastises any doubts in it being the only one available to them. Madame Tracy’s interference with this particular plan of action feels to me like another statement of a recurring theme throughout the show – that the presence of free will is an inherently human quality. On this occasion, we see two non-earthly entities that both believe that there is only one course of action to be taken (i.e. there is no free will) whose actions are disrupted by a human entity who believes that this cannot be the case. What’s interesting to me is that the theoretically weaker of those entities, the human, wins out this little battle, suggesting that the actions taken as a result of free will always be victorious when pitted against actions taken through a lack of choice.
I absolutely adore watching Crowley’s expression when Aziraphale and Madame Tracy are separated. He can barely take his eyes of the angel, except when Madame Tracy announces that the separation made her feel “all tingly”.
That side glance looks almost jealous to me… And what's with the little head dip with the flirty yet smitten (smited? smote?) shoulder squaring…
Oh, that’s right, it’s love. And probably not just a little bit of gratitude and relief that Aziraphale has been returned to him, at least for the moment. There’s even a slow blink at the very end of that clip that looks a bit like he might be trying to keep the tears away. This tiny sequence of body language cues has my heart melting every time I watch this scene, and bearing in mind that David is actually acting in the background of the shot here it speaks volumes to just what an incredible job he’s doing that I don’t watch anything in the foreground – my eyes are firmly fixed on him and his reactions. I’m pretty sad we don’t get to see the moment when Aziraphale goes to join Crowley (this assumption is based on the positioning we see in this shot and the one immediately after Newt tells Anathema he isn’t really a computer engineer) – there is a part of me that screams to see the eye contact and facial expressions involved in that whirlwind of inevitable emotions.
For a show that’s filled with dark comedy, there’s a slightly jarring sense of social delicacy in the dissolution of the Horsemen in that we don’t see any of The Them actually land a “fatal” blow. We see them take up the sword, see them holding that same sword after they impale their respective Horseman, we even see the suggestion of an impact, but we don’t see the brutal imagery of an 11-year-old child thrusting a weapon through the middle of an adult-shaped monster. The speech at the end of this episode is heavy on the subtext of the disappearance of innocence from children as they grow older, and I suspect the desire to maintain the feeling of childlike innocence in each of The Them is the reason we don’t see them committing a very violent act. We’re not only allowed to maintain that image, but it’s strengthened by Adam’s empowerment of each of them to do what needs to be done, and his assertion that the things they’re doing battle against aren’t actually people, but concepts. It makes the whole thing feel like children playing games in the woods, which I think is probably the whole point, and the reason we saw them doing so much of it earlier in the series (and especially in the book – honestly I actually got a bit bored of how much “children playing in the woods” content there was in the original text).
As a side note, and knowing that it has been pondered over by many others before me: how did Aziraphale’s flaming sword become War’s flaming sword?! I remembered to look in the FAQ list for this one, and couldn’t see that it has ever been answered.
Next side note: Dagon says that all of the legions of Hell that are readying for battle were angels before. Does that mean that every demon is a fallen angel? Because that’s a lot of fallen angels (Beelzebub says that there are 10 million of them later on in the episode).
That’s also a pretty big revolution to have taken place “before the Beginning”. Surely if you were in charge of a place where half of your employees took place in an uprising, you’d have to question the validity of your leadership skills? There’s a little kudos going out to the sound editors here too – that effect of Beelzebub’s voice to make it sound like she’s buzzing like the flies she’s lord of is brilliant, mostly because it’s not there all the time, but fades in and out for maximum effect.
I also love the idea that a nuclear holocaust could all be avoided by running the disk defragmenter. It’s actually kind of appropriate, the job of the defragmenter being to rearrange important elements so that they fit together better, eliminating bad clusters as it goes, and all to ensure the hosting system can perform more smoothly. Feels like quite an appropriate analogy of a world gone mad with war.
Bearing in mind that I have been rattling on about parallels between the members of The Them and the Horsemen, there’s something interesting about Death’s parting comment to the group on the tarmac.
I AM CREATION’S SHADOW. YOU CANNOT DESTROY ME. THAT WOULD DESTROY THE WORLD.
If we’re considering that the previously mentioned pairings are mirror images of one another, would this suggest that Adam also cannot be destroyed? Or would it mean that his destruction would result in the creation of something else? Or if we took the words literally, would that make him the product of shadow (“shadow’s creation” instead of “creation’s shadow”). I like this latter idea, given who his father is (at this point anyway), but there’s something to be said for his potential for creation too, especially given his chosen name. I think there’s probably a lot to be said for possibilities for Adam’s character, which I’m planning on exploring in the future so I won’t go into this any further here.
Given the repeated suggestions we’ve seen that death = starlight (I’m paraphrasing for simplicity) in this show, and in other works by the original authors, it’s hardly surprising that Death disappears into a cluster of starts. God even tells us that, although they look like stars, they may be something else entirely, and that they reside within Death itself.
The complete dissolution of the Horsemen feels to me like a good place to stop. As always, questions, comments, discussion: always welcome. See you next time 😊

Hello, I'm new to the jujutsu fandom, I've already watched season 1 of the movie and I'm in season 2 of jujutsu, I also follow the jujutsu manga, I liked your tumblr and started following you, I like your analyzes and you make me understand more jujutsu, thank you. I have a question, don't you think Sukuna is a boring villain, sorry, but he's too annoying, even Mahito is more interesting than him and it's impressive that Mahito gave more weight to the work than Sukuna, Sukuna killed Gojo and his death It had no significance in the work, it's something terrible, I think the author got lost.
Anon(s), please still try to be mindful of spoilerssss, even if, mid sentence, you just throw one up so other readers know. I'd appreciate it since, even though I'm not a spoiler free blog, I at least tag. I am no stranger to falling behind and trying to avoid leaks and spoilers, myself and my IRL friends are anime onlys to some of the things I obsess about. All that to say: I'm glad you're here (both in the fandom and in my inbox)! Bear in mind, these are very much just the impassioned rants of a silly little person on the internet so who knows.
One thing that I've realized about JJK villains, especially in most recent chapters, is they're never quite who we assume at face value. In this battle between humans and the negative human emotions that spawn curses... each of the villains has a really striking human quality to them whether we understand it or not. In fact, it makes their whole mission of toppling the current paradigm that much more interesting when you consider their origin. I think it was Jogo who said curses were more human than humans which... when you look at the root cause of Geto's defection... he might be onto something.
To that end, Mahito wasn't really lying when he told Yuji that they were one in the same. Humans and curses are two sides of the same coin.
⚠️ Spoiler warning for chapter 248 of JJK.
If you haven't read the light novels, you'd be interested to find that in a chapter I don't overanalyze, there's a story focused around Mahito. It appears in Jujutsu Kaisen Summer of Ashes, Autumn of Dust.
In the chapter, our typical chaos gremlin who is quick to torture first and question never stumbles upon a vagrant. He finds, in the company of a man who has not and wants not, that he exists harmoniously and curiously. In his soul, he sees an unflappable peace that is not evident in other humans and behaves accordingly around him. Day after day, he causes no harm. They even converse, reasonably and academically to an extent. Uh - Mahito is like an avid reader, by the way. While you can argue this is outside of the realm of what's canon, think of Jogo's affinity to mourn Hanami. Hoping to meet Dagon in the wasteland of souls beyond. Very human hopes which are even echoed by Mahito in canon when Haruta the curse user was sneakily going to kill Hanami. Mahito stopped him with intention because even curses have camaraderie which the humans they consort with apparently lack.
Kenjaku is another villain where, even in his twisted delights and subsequent plans for the future, safely delivers Sasaki outside of the realm of the Culling Games and thanks her for befriending his son... What? This appreciation is so humble and endearing but, of course it is, it is that of a mother. Something he decisively lacks with Choso and the cursed womb paintings but still. It goes against the grain of the rest of his character, you know?
Toji, the man who can't be bothered to remember the name of the kid he sold back to the hell hole he grew up in and yet thinks of him as he breathes his last breaths. When his body was reanimated in Shibuya and was hardwired to find and fight the strongest... that recognition on his face when he realized who he was fighting? The animation did a beautiful job of clearing the black of his eyes, softening his gaze toward Megumi. Knowing that it was Megumi Fushiguro and not Zenin he took himself out, happily. Doesn't really ring true of how a lot of fans interpret him as a character.
Now, we have Sukuna. I agree, he seems to be somewhat flat in characterization so far but.. so was everyone else until we got the effective cowlick that indicated their complexity. Now, 248 chapters in, we're seeing the chip in his facade.
Gojo is no stranger to dying though he is extremely unused to comparison. He's the Strongest Sorcerer of the Modern Era, after all. But I wonder if it makes sense to call Sukuna his foil. Imagine Gojo's unchecked ego had he never met Geto. I imagine a life of isolation carrying the burden of one's own grace and strength would absolutely turn out similar to Sukuna's wherein there is no need for purpose beyond one's own whims.
Subsequently, Gojo dying at Sukuna's hands and earning his respect was the first real human connection we see Sukuna receive positively (he gave Jogo a pretty sweet send off, too). It was done with intention, even Gojo hoped to communicate with his tempered body the fact that he too knew that isolation. In universe, it seems to be a form of love (search for "Of Love and Strength" on this post), this understanding. This lapse in Sukuna's indifference is furthered in facing off against fan favorite lawyer Hiromi Higurama.
Following Gojo's demise, Gege has been comparing a lot of characters to the vacuum of power left in his wake. Yuta, I get, but Higurama is an absolute wild card. However, Sukuna sees something in him that he not only respects in this comparison to Gojo... but also stymies him. Especially as he meaningfully comes to terms with his dismissal and abhorrence of Yuji.
What we're seeing is the blossom of his character playing out amidst an all or nothing fight. Stay strapped in, anon!

*Near the end of the mission- the Titans have pulled off the impossible. They found Gigan, Abraxas bested him in combat, got from him the necessary failsafe they knew he had, and now they were trying to escape. Unfortunately- one of the groups was trapped. Godzilla, Rodan, Abraxas, Barb, and Tiamat were stuck in a room that had caught fire- likely from one of Abraxas's lightning attacks. The door was blocked by debris from the other side- and Godzilla banged on the door to get it to open while the fires licked at their backsides.*
Rodan: We're all gonna die, we're all gonna die, we're all gonna die, we're all gonna die, we're all gonna die, we're all gonna die...
Godzilla, Abraxas, and Tiamat: WOULD YOU QUIT IT?!
Rodan: IT'S TRUE! THIS WAS AN AWFUL IDEA! WHY DID I LET MYSELF BE TALKED INTO THIS??? God I'll never get to see the Sun again- feel the wind rushing past me in flight- never *mate* with anyone again! This is the end...
Godzilla: STOP BEING A DRAMA QUEEN AND HELP ME ALREADY!
Rodan: It's curtain call- requiem's playing- fat lady singing... Quick- I gotta get some stuff off my chest, guys.
Tiamat: Fucks sake.
Rodan: Abraxas- Vivienne- San- whatever the fuck you go by- I love you. Despite all the snipping and teasing and rudeness- we go together great and I love being around you and I really really really wanted to have more time with you.
Rodan: Barb- I was just being an asshole when I called you a bug that one time. I'm sorry- you looked really sad when I said it and I felt like I couldn't say sorry because that would make my tough guy masquerade come crumbling down and everyone would see me for the glorified hatchling I was- putting up a front and deflecting everything with humor and wit so I didn't have to feel things.
Rodan: Tiamat- you don't deserve all the shit people say about you behind your back. Yeah, you're kind of a slut; but that's cool- y'know? You don't give a shit and I think that's really respectable and I wish I could be like you and not have such a fragile ego. You're also funny and fun to be around- and I feel like no one ever tells you that, y'know?
Rodan: And Godzilla- I've always sorta thought you were hot.
Godzilla: ...what-
Rodan: FUCK, your roar, your body, DID I MENTION HOW GOOD YOU LOOK IN THE PINK?? I got on your ass for it, I know, I'm sorry- but god, you look good. You're also just real quiet and sweet when you wanna be and super calm most of the time and JESUS CHRIST, YOUR VOICE-
Barb: Uh- Rodan?
Rodan: -I tell ya, if you ever showed interest I would've bent over. In. A. Heartbeat. But... I never knew how to tell you this. You're just really intimidating all the time and whenever I talk to you I feel like you tune me out and never really listen as you just have that stone-cold look all the time and y'know me: Rodan, King of The Skies who needs nobody but himself to keep him company. But you seem like a cool guy... and I wanted to be better friends with you before...
Mothra: What the fuck.
Rodan: what-
*The rubble had been cleared and the door was open. On the other side was Dagon, Shimo, Mothra, Behemoth, and Kong; and they were all staring at Rodan with agape maws- along with everyone else.*
Rodan: ...shit.
Mothra: Got one for me in there?
Rodan: You guys just leave me here- I'll be dying of-
Godzilla/Abraxas/Tiamat/Barb: Absolutely not!
*Godzilla grabs Rodan and throws him over his shoulder as the gang runs down the now open hall, reunited with their friends.*
Oh, Rodan, you drama queen.
Dagon: Honestly, this is going much better than I expected, but how did you get the fail safe from Gigan?
Abraxas: Classified.
*five minutes earlier*
Abraxas: Give me the fail safe or I'll never let you record me being carved open like a turkey again.
Gigan: Oh, sweetheart, you'll have to do better than that.
Abraxas:
Abraxas: Hey, you know all those grotesque leather family tree things you have hung up in that hallway, like Clive Barker Bayeux Tapestries From Hell? The ones your followers made out of their skin and gave to you as offerings that will be added to with every generation?
Gigan: ...you didn't.
Abraxas: I did.
Gigan: No.
Abraxas: It was easy.
Gigan: You MONSTER, THE AMOUNT OF HISTORY IN THOSE TAPESTRIES! THE BLOOD AND SWEAT AND TEARS THAT WENT INTO FLAYING AND TANNING THEM!
Abraxas: And now they're all tilted.
Gigan: THAT FUCKING HALLWAY IS GOING TO GIVE ME SUCH A GODDAMN HEADACHE, YOU CARRION SPAWN FROM THE DARKEST PIT OF EVIL!!

Devilish - Ch. II
-- Okok we're getting somewhere with this. I'll be straight up the more I write the less I like but, I do love a slowburn.
Warnings below; - This is a demon!Ateez x angel!reader (not for long however) so there is talk of religion. As an atheist I really don't refer to 'God' or Jesus but I do not mean any harm for religion. In this writing I do, however, use real religious names, that being said, this is purely fiction! - Also for confusion purposes, I do cut back and forth from present to future. If you see '~' that is currently what is happening, so be aware! - Finally, Hongjoong's kind of a bitch but he's allowed to be- --
(Severely unedited)
1.3k
Prologue <<prev.<< | >>next.>>
--
Heavy steps echoed through the halls, a slow pace set as he enjoyed the quiet. The ebony crown had rested itself on a neatly styled mass of black hair. A black cloth littered with chains covered his lower face, leaving only the harsh glare of his eyes visible. The footsteps were cut off as he stopped at a large door. As the door opened, a loud crash disrupted the silence, as well as a few obscenities.
“Yunho,” the man said, making his way through the doors. The taller male stopped in his place, looking down at his spilled plate of snacks.
“Hongjoong, your highness, majesty even! Why are you up? Our new king should be resting properly before fully diving into his duties,” Yunho said, trying his best to hide the spilled plate.
“Clean it up,” Hongjoong stated. His hands raised to his face, slipping the mask from his ears. His face looked soft, but the gaze of his eyes were demanding and intimidating.
“If you want to stress eat fine, but don’t do it five minutes before the meeting, now come on. It’s hard to round you all up and even harder to keep you from being idiots,” He finished, slipping the mask back on, and walking out the door. Slightly down the hall was his next destination. The doors were already open this time, six others stood around, different crowns held on each head. Soon Yunho followed, minutes before three unknown figures walked in. Just enough time for Yunho to throw on his final accessory. Same ebony colored crown, although a bit smaller than his leaders. Horns were now present on each member in the room, some similar, some different.
“Ah, the new royal court, it’s such a pleasure,” The stranger's voice spoke, almost dripping with sarcasm.
“Dagon, drop the false respect.” Hongjoong said as the other seven men circled their leader.
“Tell me why you’re here, I can’t say I have time for this,” Hongjoong had known this man his entire upbringing. He wouldn’t even dare to plan any alliance with a poor excuse of a demon.
“I’m sure you know exactly what I’m here to talk about, your majesty,”
~
Ye’un and I had been pushed in a room, the door locked from the outside. Kneeling at her side, I tried to heal her wounds. While it was a slow process, the warmth finally flowed through my hands, a yellow glow emerging from them.
“My curiosity got the best of me didn’t it?” She coughed out.
“Yes it did, how we’re not dead because of you is beyond me,” I said, slumping next to her. The room seemed to be a bedroom of sorts, unlike a gross jail cell. Both of us jumped at the sound of a booming voice.
“Enough!” rumbled through the air, it was the voice of the man who got so close to me not even minutes ago.
~
“That doesn’t sound like an answer dear,” The demon king's false comfort had been replaced with rage. His left hand, gloved yet had two fingers free from fabric, raised. My eyes snapped shut waiting for the sharp sting, yet it didn’t come. I opened my eyes only realizing he was just as confused. Instead of a harsh sensation colliding with my cheek, two of his unclothed fingers pressed to my forehead. Suddenly, a warmth filled my body, my wings ruffled in comfort and my eyes closed from glee rather than fear. The feeling was ripped from me and my senses came back, once again face to face with the demon king, yet he looked almost regretful.
“Comfortably escort them to the nearest quarters,” He said harshly to the men holding us. Finally, harsh grips loosened but haste was still a part of the picture.
~
I could hear footsteps from outside the door, they were slow yet harsh.
“Ah fuck,” A voice echoed on the other side, along with a dropping of keys. My ears ringed at the use of a forbidden word. The door opened cautiously, a head slowly pushed from behind the door. Even though his cloak was back and pushed over his head, I couldn’t help but notice the shine of yellow hair that slowly bled to orange. Even then, my attention stood on the horns peeking out from the hood. Adorning what the angels called, half horns. Rare among demons, even more rare was the light blue seeping from where the horns met his skin, only for them to fade back into a familiar black. I had been snapped out of my observation when I heard the door shut, also a clinging hand on my shoulder.
“It’s- your-” Ye’un stuttered and shook next to me, I took in her horrified expression as it filled me with my own terror. He groaned, clearly annoyed, which was soon followed by a harsh plop on the floor closer to us.
“Yeah, my name is Mingi, great descendant of Belphegor himself blah blah,” He muttered out.
That’s not why I’m here, anyway you, my doll have waltzed yourself into a funny situation,” He said, making direct eye contact with me. My throat dried as I took in my surroundings, here I sat an angel in hell itself being calmly spoken to by the sin of acedia himself. Not only that, the demon king, a descendant of the most powerful demon that ever ruled this awful plain of existence, Azazel himself. Angels never even dare think of his name, yet here we were being spared, or they’re keeping us for something worse than death.
“And what situation is that?” I finally spoke, attempting to swallow my fear, the quiver in my voice failing me.
“I think it’s better if Hongjoong explained this one,” He said, getting up, his hand reaching out to me and yet I made no move to accept it.
“She’s not going anywhere with you damned demons!” Ye’un jumped up at him, but he simply pushed her off of him.
“Look if you want your friend here to make it out alive, come with me,” He demanded, his anger more pointed at Ye’un.
“Fine,” I spoke, grabbing his hand. To my surprise, his grip on my hand was soft, almost as if he was afraid to hurt me. Ye’un was quickly back on her feet, mere seconds from launching herself at the demon again.
“Ye’un!” My voice said sharply, my tone held unfamiliar anger. The longer they held here me the more I could feel the sin creep through my veins.
“Let me handle this, I’ll be fine,” I said, my voice trembling knowing it would be a lie, accepting the fact the last thing I’d see of her would be a look of sorrow.
~
He led me through a course of long and dark halls, then we unexpectedly halted. I would’ve taken it as a moment to run back to Ye’un but the grasp on my hand stopped me.
“I almost didn’t think of it, but your wings wouldn’t be a good thing to have in the open,” He said. His hand left mine for a split second and I should’ve run. The opportunity is greater now than ever, yet I didn’t. I let him drape his own cloak over me, hiding my wings, and pulling the hood over my hair. Grabbing my hand once again, we kept moving through the dark corridors until I was led into a room. It was brighter than anything I’ve seen in this realm. Things were still mostly black, but it was also littered in gold. Soon my eyes caught thrones, more importantly, the people sitting in them. There were eight, the same men I was just kneeling under. My mind started racing again as I remembered the name Mingi spoke in the room with Ye’un. He is the sin of Sloth, one of the seven deadly sins, along with the demon king, his council.
“My dear, take a seat you’ll need it.” --
A/n: I might make a character sheet potentially but idk, it might ruin suspense.

Hey-o! Could I request the TF2 mercs with a S/O that is like a ragon lady? (Has dragon attributes but is mostly human)
Sure! (Only doing a couple mercs because I'm swamped with tf2 requests)
Mercs with s/o who's like a dagon person
Demoman
He absolutely adores the way you look
He could study your wings for days and never get bored
Even if your scales are a little uncomfortable he's still gonna cuddle you all the time
Also wrap him in your wings sometimes he'll absolutely melt
Pyro
You're like someone from their dreams
They love your wings and all their sparkling colors and the patches of scales spread across your arms and neck
No one can say anything bad about the way you look because Pyro will start throwing stuff
Whenever they can they like to trace your scales on your wings
Sniper
Honestly he was kind of intimidated when he first met you
Your wings adding several inches to your height and you almost towered over him
But he's gotten used to be wrapped in your wings and he finds it relaxing
Sometimes it's hard to be in his van though because your wings constantly knock stuff over on accident
Spy
Very intrigued and impressed by your scales
He'll act polite but he really wants to touch your wings or trace the patches of scales on your arm
At first he'd immediately push his way out if you tried to wrap him in your wings but eventually he gave in
You two actually look quite regal together when you're both sitting in his dimly lit smoking room

Hello....If you don't mind, can I ask your top 5 (or top 3) favorite characters from Jujutsu Kaisen? And why you loved them? And your top 5 favorite moments from the series? Sorry if you've answered this before.....
hi omg YES thank u for sending i haven't ever answered this! also i'm curious about your top 5 for both!!!! <3 (sorry this is so long 😭)
top 5 characters and why i love them...
1. geto, he is hands down my ultimate favourite. i think he has the most interesting back story, and i love the whole trope of a a character that has gone through something terrible with someone else but one of them became out 'bad', the other 'good'. he's my biggest comfort character!!!! i also like that his morals never changed, it's just his vision of who should be protected did (which i think is understandable, albeit completely wrong). i also love that he's amazing at karate as well, and i love his humour!
2. higuruma!!!!! like geto, i just completely adore his CT. i actually think objectively it's the coolest and most impressive one and i love when gege gets a bit more technical in explaining stuff (like with choso's blood manipulation too), also judgeman's design is AMAZING imo
3. rn shoko, i LOVEEE HER! once again i just think her character design is really cool, i love rct as a technique and i ❤️ characters as healers. i loved her in hidden inventory, i always think about her trying to teach geto and gojo rct in the most nonsense way. i'd say gege give her more screen time but i need her alive and happy with utahime by the end of the manga...
4. YUTA!!!!! once again i just love his character design, he is so cutesy. i love how sweet and adorable and awkward he can be, and ALL of his friendships are so cute. one of the coolest character designs in the manga, and the most recent chapter with his new domain?!!!! i'm still not quite sure if i prefer that or higuruma's domain more, i THINK i prefer deadly sentencing
5. TORN BETWEEN CHOSO AND MAKI, but ultimately i think choso... honestly once again i just love his design, i like the whole idea of what makes humanity and the way he brings in curses vs humans (it works better knowing jogo, dagon, etc all mourned other curses and said to meet again). overall he's charming and funny, nothing endears to me more than a character that just wants to protect someone. the best big brother. i love that he cries a lot, i want to give him a hug.
AND my top 5 moments... (warning for manga spoilers!!!!!!!!!!)
1. nanami's death. as much as i hated it and i love him, the voice acting was INCREDIBLE in that episode. the piano, the way he speaks so quietly, the cut scenes from it being so beautiful to the noises of him being in shibuya. i first watched it drunk and i replayed it honestly about 20 times, i even called my dad and made him watch it while i cried 😭 ... THE FACT THAT JUST BEFORE IT YUJI IS HAVING A BREAKDOWN... ugh all of it!!!!!! everyone's VA was immaculate... the emotion behind yuji's 'what the hell are you mahito' was incredible, and hearing mahito scream back for the first time made my stomach drop. incredible, amazing. i've seen that so many times but just hearing nanami's 'i'm tired, exhausted even' makes me start to tear up. god BLESS the voice actors for that scene
2. yuji vs mahito, specifically the imagery and how yuji is portrayed with the wolves. so beautifully animated, incredible. mahito throwing snow at yuji was sad but satisfying
3. mai's death and maki's awakening... okay so off the bat maki is amazing. seeing mai answer back her father and then sit over maki broke my heart. they're both just kids who love their sibling. they are just so tragic, maki's 'okay i get it, now come back' after mai says as long as i'm around you'll never develop. i love that scene because it shows that maki is already willing to go against all of the odds, even before complete heavenly restriction. i remember her telling yuji she would kill her clan (?) in jjk0 and even believing her then. the burn marks also add a lot to this scene i think. it was just really sadly cathartic to see the resolution to them as sisters, and heartbreaking. the first panel where she open's her eyes telling mai to wake up BREAKS ME. the panic on her face. also the line 'destroy everything big sister'. the fact she does. UGHHH!!!!
4. hmmm... choso's fake memory. the fight scene was really cool, but specifically, the part where yuji is eating with choso and his brothers. it's beautiful. the switch up in the way it's animated, looking like it's on an old vhs tape. so emotional. seeing yuji feeding choso and calling him big brother, just to cut to choso punching something and crying like he can't breathe. ugh i love them
5. the fight scene in hidden inventory... i just love it, i think it sets up all three of their personalities so well. i love how easily it portrays geto's personality: his morals, his ego, the sense of superiority he has. it perfectly displays his and gojo's friendship, their differences. we get to see them so in sync as yaga walks in and they both look away stretching, the way they both antagonise each other in sync before that

I’m very bored tma + good omens avatar hc
Thinking about Magnus archives while listening to the good omens audio book 😭
I had the wiki open for reference idk if that helps with anything
The four horse men of the apocalypse
Death: The End
Goes with out saying lmao, I mean they pretty much are one in the same less that death is an avatar of The end and more they just are The End
Pollution: The Extinction
I was debating on also going with the slaughter maybe because of like pestilence, and also how they kind of throw other people under bus when messing with the oil rig and other organizations it made me connect it to the “unmotivated violence” idk rather just make it simple so the extinction
Could also see an argument for the corruption but I feel that’s more individual where the extinction is more all encompassing soooo
Famine: The Flesh
A lot of the imagery associated with him is pretty body horror-ie also a lot of manipulation of food
War: The Desolation
Honestly I feel like this one was the only one for the four horsemen where the war choice just doesn’t fit in my mind, like her being an avatar of the slaughter… nahhhh. The way she acts and tries to corrupt and start infighting on a individual level… like the whole scene in the show where she stop the peace treaty by just being there was very cult of the lightless flame of her… also she has red hair and fire imagery soooo (jk)
Humans
Agnes Nutter (also maybe just the entire device blood line tbh): The Web
Girl controls all of the device family via her predictions and knows how everything that’s gonna go down could maybe say the eye but the eye doesn’t predict the future also Agnes and Anathema are cunty enough to chill with Annabella I think
The them: The spiral??
Idk Adam has the ability to make reality bend the way he wants it and the rest of them are kids exploring their imagination maybe there’s something’s there about illusions also in the book ley lines start to spiral and converge in Tadfeild so boom whatever
Shadwell: The hunt
Bros been witch hunting his enitre life like
Nina: The Corruption
Unhealthy relationship whomp whomp
Maggie: The Burried
Idk maybe smth about feeling trapped with a record shop no one comes to and not enough money to find anywhere else to be that’s doesn’t really make sense tho cause she love the records shop and love Nina so I mean idk help
Demons
Crowley: The Eye
Honestly this was the post that inspired this while i do agree like woe is Crowley sad lonely demon, MF is so curious! Alway asking damned fool questions he just wants to know stuff so bad to the point of his own damnation like….
Hastur: The corruption
Bug (could also be avatar of the hunt)
Beelzebub: The corruption
Bug (that one’s lazy ik okay) I can see arguments for the slaughter (wanting for their to be a war or just in general being the over seer of torture) or the stranger( for like 2.5 second in season 2) but I will not be one to make those arguments (even though that’s whole point of this blog post)
Dagon: The desolation
Very bitey give me very big manipulator vibes waiting for mfs down fall (could also see them as an avatar of the hunt for the same reasons!!)
Shax (and furfur tbh): The Hunt
She got that dawg in her climbing the corporate ladder praying on bitches down fall very girlboss
Angels
Aziraphale: The lonely
Unironically the hardest one for me like idk I could maybe see the eye because of the bookshop but I think it’s less of like desire for information and more about the actually act of collecting and the enjoyment of reading for him like yes he still has a curiosity about and seeks information but idk it’s more restrained (then like Crowley) and limited to whatever humans got going on I think
Idk this is the one I’m the most wishy-washy about some one else could probably find smth better but I decided to go with the lonely cause he very much enjoys his solitude with his books, but then it’s also like no he has and loves Crowley! But At the same time tho there’s that whole mention in the book where he like hints at Crowley when to get the fuck out of the bookshop so he can go back to reading. Idk out of all the fears this is the only I think he would most likely to be an avatar to (also gotta keep up the lonely + the eye parings right lmaoo)
Metatron: The stranger
Bro is so secretive about everything and literally changes his mannerism when trying to get Aziraphale back to heaven, definitely could also see the web since he is “the voice of god” but I feel like that’s just another face he puts on and he has not been actually able to speak to good since like job or smth. I think he just has a general outline of how things are supposed to happen but what god actually has planned is well ineffable so
Gabriel (Honestly also applies to the other Archangels tbh): The Desolation
They want war, they want to end the world before it has the ability to see its full potential
Jim: The spiral
Because…
Muriel: The lonely
:(
(idk I need to seem some mentorship and Muriel becoming her own person in season 3 Kay bye)
Thanks for reading my ramblings if you got this far please feel feed to add your own opinions and ideas to this lmao

26-50 wit huuu dagon and jame aaand long time no joe and mae?
big boys. and mae
26. What sacrifices do they make for the other?
Dagon's given up a bunch of his screentime to give to Jame instead at least and switched his eating habits to be a bit healthier
It's not a sacrifice if they want to do it and being a stay-at-home dad was Joe's dream anyways, but I think it was a big thing from Mae to agree to be pregnant not once but twice
27. How do they say “I love you” non-verbally?
Jame ensures Dagon drinks his water, Dagon cuddles up, they shave each others' hair/beard, Jame traces around Dagon's vitiligo patches, kisses and other small shows of affection, Dagon snaps at Metzli for talking shit
Little touches and kisses, hugs throughout the day, lounging on the couch together either spooning or Joe's head on Mae's lap, playing with each others' hair or hands
28. Who’s the better chef? Do they cook for the other?
Jame's better but Dagon's picking up what he's putting down, if they eat together they cook together
They're both alright but Joe cooks more and for the whole family I think, fixes lunches for the kids too, Mae comes home from work and Joe's almost done setting the table for her to eat too
29. Describe their nighttime routine.
Jame has convinced Dagon to stop looking at blue light like an hour before going to bed, do some stretches, brush teeth, cuddle a bit and talk about day, give a good nights kiss and go to sleep
Maybe shower, brush teeth, cuddle up and chat and kiss a bit, talk about the day and what they're gonna do tomorrow, give a smooch goodnight and settle to sleep
30. What are their respective love languages? Do their love languages work well together?
Dagon practices quality time and physical touch but also some acts of service, he's cuddlier than most think but he thrives with parallel play as well
Joe is big on physical affection and verbal affection in his own way, but also quality time, Mae doesn't do physical affection the same way Joe does so they meet in the middle and just enjoy each other's company
31. Do they often go out on dates? What are these like?
On occasion, usually on an anniversary, go out for dinner and a few drinks before heading back home. They're cordial but nice dates, hold hands under the table maybe, play footsie, onlookers would think its a first date but no this is their 7th anniversary
They like going on dates, just getting drinks at a bar or going to a proper restaurant to eat, date nights are a nice way to add a bit of pizzazz to the usual, they can act all lovey dovey with just the two of them
32. Do either of them drink? If so, who’s the lightweight, and how does their partner care for them?
Neither drinks a lot, neither is particularly lightweight but Dagon wins by just being largehuge
They drink very moderately, Joe has a few beers on date nights (refuses to sip those girly cocktails though) and Mae can have something tasty too, he stays pretty much sober so she has nothing to worry about
33. How do they flirt? Who’s the worse flirt?
They throw glances in each others' direction (hard to see when Jame has his visor), sometimes they stand next to each other. When in private Dagon can get a lil flirty, c'mere I wanna cuddle
It's fun to go to a bar and pretend they're not married, Joe knows way too many awful pick up lines, props his boobs up and becomes insufferable until Mae breaks character
34. Do they have any inside jokes?
Maybe about Dagon being like velcro when asleep or then their height difference
So many from all the way to before they were even dating
35. Is their relationship a secret? If so, why?
Not particularly? But they don't advertise it either. Kris knows because he's besties with Dagon, Vadim knows bc he's nosy, others aren't really aware bc they haven't felt the need to tell anyone
Nope, they're so obviously in love, suck it Helen
36. How do they feel about having kids? Are they in agreement?
They agree on no children
They agreed on two children, they got three, love them all to bits
37. Who’s more emotionally sensitive/cries more often?
I think Dagon is a bit more sensitive but also he cries like once in a decade too so
Mae more, but Joe has learned to show his feelings too
38. Who’s got a quicker temper?
Dagon also, mainly shows it when his code doesn't work, but will tell Metzli to stfu too
Mae also
39. When and how did they admit that they loved each other? If they haven’t yet, why?
Dagon slipped it by half-accident a few years into their relationship, Jame said it back and they moved on. No need to say it out loud when they both know it well enough
After seeing each other for a longer while, a year maybe, when both knew it was serious and it was time to introduce the other to their parents etc., Mae had to say it first but Joe was ready to say it back
40. Do they have any regrets in their relationship?
Not really
They managed being apart from each other for longer whiles, Joe being a mercenary and Mae being a scavenger and all, Joe regrets not being more in touch with his emotions and later for being gone when Damien was small
41. What would they do if they lost the other?
Just go quiet and grieve in solitude for a long while I think
Be destroyed, support is needed
42. What’s their relationship like with each other’s friends/families?
Nonexistent, Dagon doesn't talk to his parents, his brother died while he was in prison and his sister-in-law/her kids don't talk to him either bc he was a criminal. Nor has he ever met Jame's family
Close, Joe's family is tightknit and his parents and sisters love Mae, sisters's husbands and kids too, its a big group and she/her parents were taken in without question. Mae's parents were a bit more sus about Joe but Mae liked him and he seemed nice so he was accepted
43. If they picked out outfits for each other, what would they look like?
Jame gets the ugliest shirt
Joe would look more put together instead of just a T-shirt and jeans, Mae would wear some kind of a black dress and maybe a lil jacket, accessories whomst?
44. Do they cuddle often? Why or why not?
Sleeping with Dagon is not a question of if you get cuddled, but when. But they do enjoy watching films etc. cuddled up too. Dagon just enjoys closeness and he's a Great hugger/pillow
They cuddle pretty frequently, Joe is also a great pillow and warm and soft and he enjoys holding Mae too, its a great way to watch movies or hang out
45. How do they support each other? How do they rely on each others support?
They listen whenever the other has grievances to air, and they trust that the other one will listen also. They got this understanding that everything's free game. Dagon also will read his code out loud to Jame to catch mistakes he's made sometimes but he does that to rubber ducks too
If Mae's had a long day at work, Joe's cleaned the house and made dinner and handled things for her so she doesn't have to worry. They listen to whatever they have to say and Mae encourages Joe to be more open about his feelings, Joe knows Mae will never think his fears or insecurities are dumb
46. Do they consider their relationship casual or serious? Is the answer different depending on who you ask? Why?
Very serious, if someone asks they say it's not their business, frankly
Very serious, no matter who you ask that is the love of their life
47. Do they sleep beside each other? Why or why not?
I think they still have their own apartments, but they often stay overnight and share the bed
Every night if they only can
48. Do they talk about their future together? Why or why not?
Not really? They're very happy where they are right now, I think they've talked about marriage and come to the consensus that no thank you (Dagon is not entirely against it but if Jame doesn't want to, he's fine with that). They take it day by day
They're happy where they are now but they do talk about stuff like when the kids grow up and go to college and move out and should they move house to a smaller one when that happens and Joe wants to buy a boat and when will they retire and normal stuff regular people talk about
49. Do they keep secrets from each other?
Nah
No, unless it's a surprise
50. Would they ever break up? If so, why? Who would handle the breakup better?
At the moment a breakup is not coming, they're very happy. Might stick together for the remaining centuries or so. With their constitutions and support circles I think they would manage it well, Dagon maybe a bit worse bc he's more emotional but he would accept it after a bit
No breaking up, ride or die. They'd both scream and cry if they broke up and I can't imagine which would even be the one leaving
#joe is a dedicated househusband#hes packing lunches for his three kids while making coffee for his wife and hes like yes. this is what i was made for#this is the ultimate goal.#long oc thing

RAINBOW DRAGON AND ELEPHANT!!!! SPRAYING WATER AND RAINBOWS!!!! LOVE WINS!!
(also love the idea that Hanami dislikes Ko-Guy, since Ko-Guy eats all of Hanami’s plants…)
And Kurourushi dislikes Hanami since she does not like his baby bro
These two are making the rainbow for the cursed pride parade that is happening below them! (humans only see a everyone dying around them by burning alive, turning into monsters, or being eaten/carried away into nothingness lol)
You read my mind for why Hanami hates Ko-Guy! Yes! He just keeps eating her plants as well as constantly asking her to make more (or biting her which she doesn't care too much about until he tries to bite her eye stalks, then she's throwing hands with him).
Hanami: .lla tA .yuG-oK ekil ton od I [I do not like Ko-Guy. At all.]
Kurourushi (brother mode activates): Valid but fuck you!
______________
Gotta think of other relationship dynamics for the curses because they are fun! Whatever this curse is (from ch 209 of the manga):
Is definitely friends with the Roppongi curse and the Mannequin curse, and it also is the connecting/mutual friend for Smallpox Deity that connects the shopping curses to the sickness and bug curses.
Akuro-o Otake I can see also being a friend, or at least acquaintance with the Roppongi curse. As well as friends with Ganesha.
Similar with the curse that Inumaki fought in JJK 0, which is unnamed and I forget what shopping district it is in atm. That one I origianlly thought of being friends with Ganesha right after I was reminded that Ganesha existed, so that is definitely another relationship dynamic there!
Kechizu and Hanami are friends. Just love the idea that the two get along because Kechizu is younger sibling gamer coded to me and Hanami is the person the lil gamer talks to even if she hardly knows what is going on (also the fact that I love the idea she makes flower crowns/bracelets for others! She uses flower language both positive and negative, so she will insult people like Satoru with a flower crown without them knowing. She needs to give either a big flower crown to Kechizu because of his body type, or just give him a bracelet. She's done both for him).
Also, not a curse, but I love the idea that in another universe Hanami would have become friends with Kinji and Kirara! She takes dumb stupid risks/gambles like no other curse and I love that for her (and Toji would take Kinji, Kirara, and Dagon to a gambling place and make Dagon cheat for them because most people can't see curses. Especially at the water racing thing he was betting on in Hidden Inventory arc).
Jogo's not getting along with any of the other curses I bet. He still has fights with the disaster curses, of course he wouldn't be able to make friends easily with others. However! I love the idea that him and Juzo get into arguments about cursed tools and the history behind them. Just love Jogo being knowledgeable about cursed items and Juzo knowing lots of stuff about cursed weapons. So the two butt heads together a lot about what is correct and what isn't (and then Satoru takes the two on a field trip to look at the school's cursed tools because he's Satoru Gojo and can do shit like that, but he really wants to cause more drama while also getting more information about cursed tools. Probably Maki is there as well).
And then Dagon, Kurourushi, and Ko-guy have a whole frenemies thing going on as they fight over food. Definitely these three are bothering Uraume a bunch for good food (especially humans). And Uraume hates all of them because none of these curses can appreciate the effort that they put into making these foods like Sukuna does.
Mahito's the little outcast that no one really likes but every curse tolerates. There are definitely fun moments they all have together, especially when Mahito drags someone in on a little fun prank (usually aimed at Jogo)!
#jjktalk#eritalks#noart#asks#i kinda rambled a bit#but i just love trying to think of dyanmics#it's kinda difficult#and i'm trying not to make them super obvious#but like with d/agon k/urourushi and k/o-guy#i just know those three are fighting about food#especially if d/agon is pre evolved#you know the other d/isaster c/urses are having to come to d/agon's rescue#as the bug curses take food from our lil octo baby

Heyyy~
I love drawing the flora and fauna from TES games, I absolutely love it. If anyone has any requests on that front feel free to throw an ask at me. This extends to plants, animals, fungi, and alchemy ingredients from any of the scrolls games. I just think they’re neat! :))
ALSO!! I post about my elder scrolls OCs sometimes (there’s info on them under the cut if you’re interested.)
[Making this so it’s not only a TES blog anymore, so you might see me post about other things]
(Last updated: 12/18/2024)
The Heros
(Skyrim) Viir/Viiraulor:
Viirautarelor is my LBD and also a Thu’um using alteration/illusion bard. That is to say xe likes to pretend to be people other than hirself for hir own amusement, and for the amusement of others. If you see several different designs for hir this is why. Xe is armed only with hir illusory wit and a kitchen knife. (Hir name should translate loosely to ‘dying trickster’. I ran with the Shezarrine idea, but this time it’s literally just mortal Lorkhan. ish)
(Oblivion) Archcanon Ice Wraith:
My HoK, Wraith, is a spear-wielding, bug-loving, ALMSIVI-enthused, alchemy nerd that makes friends with as many people as possible, and has fallen head over heels in love with assumptions and metaphors. She WAS the Nerevarine once, but didn’t want to be. In an attempt to mimic Vivec, she ended up using Kagrenac’s tools on the heart of Lorkhan to create her own unreal reality. One in which she is never the Nerevarine. This is the reality that all of my other characters live in. She calls it c0da Web. (When written, ‘web’ is the daedric character for ‘w’. Yes… it is a spider pun. This is Wraith so of course it is. Caught in a web of lies… im sorry). Ice Wraith is kind of obsessed with Vivec, and it is kind of a problem.
(Morrowind) J’uhna:
Wraith gave my Nerevarine, J’uhna, his name. In full the name is a mix of Dovahzul, Dunmeri, and a pinch of Ta’agra. It is JUN LUN/LUHN AH VAR, which means both ‘The Life-Light and Moon’ and ‘The Hunter of Leech-Kings’ Lives’. J’uhna is a frustrated, greedy, self-obsessed person who is crafty and annoyingly adept with words. If he likes someone he needs them to be unquestionably loyal, and if he hates someone he needs them to fear him. J’uhna has memories of all of the failed incarnates. He remembers being Peakstar, Conoon Chodala, Erur-Dan, Xayah, etc. Of course he also remembers being Nerevar. He’s coping with this, but not very well (he’s not entirely convinced that his memories and traumas from his past lives are real).
(Daggerfall) Plink
(ESO) Cirainile/Flowers:
This is my Vestige, an absurdly tall restoration mage who means well, but boasts some of Summerset’s more standoffish body language. He is an altmer born of a noble clan in Alinor which claims (without proof) that its lineage begins with Trinimac. He’s very interested in fabric making, and has a pet rat he calls Rice. His friends call him Nile, or Flowers, for short. (I pronounce his name sorta like ‘see-rye-kneel-uh’. Don’t really know how to write pronunciation out so that’s the best I got sorry :) )
(Battlespire) Daggi:
A powerful dremora from the badlands who makes eternal Mehrunes Dagon’s sphere by spending all of his immortality rebelling against it. Whoever holds the power is Daggi’s enemy. Because of how he is integrated into Dagon’s sphere, Daggi will always rebel against power, yet never stand at the top. If he ever wins his battles he’s quick to lose any power he gained. Not by accident but as an intrinsic part of his daedric nature. Unless his nymic changes for some reason he is permanently doomed to this fate. Not that he sees himself as doomed. He understands his place in Dagon’s sphere yet also believes his rebellions are his alone, and not due to some power outside of his control. His biggest faults are his unchangeable mindset, and his tendency towards perfect honesty. I have him here as my Battlespire character, but he also shows up during the Oblivion crisis to help the HoK and Martin rebel against his ‘father’.
The Side Bitches
(Skyrim) Ilabael Muhr:
A sweetheart and a plant nerd. Also my LBD’s ex-wife. Ilabael is the child of an exiled ashlander of Erabenimsun, and a kwama miner. She’s from Jora’ruhn—a city built by the Warrior-Poet’s last archcanon on top of the ruins of Vivec.
(Skyrim) Cahnu’ul:
Totally not a reincarnation of Vivec ;). In Skyrim he’s My LBD’s friend. He’s got no idea that he is who he is and if you accused him he’d refuse it. He grew up in Dawnstar, thinks the gods are incapable, and carries Wraith’s axe named Heaven-by-Violence. (Side note: Cahnu’ul exists in every conceivable timeline as a consequence of Wraith’s actions. If you’re curious about the ‘whys’ and the ‘hows’ of the mess that is this oc, feel free to ask. To put things bluntly though, Cahn Hahnu Sul Ul is my oc’s oc.)
(Skyrim) Peynach:
A winged Ayleid whose family lives in Skyrim’s southwestern mountains. My LBD’s friend.
(Morrowind) Morvana-Dar & Yana-La:
Two Khajiiti siblings who are both a part of the Camonna Tong during the events of Morrowind. My Nerevarine’s friends.
(Daggerfall) Snakes-Faces/Thuxisei:
Snakes or Thuxi for short. She’s Plink’s ‘friend’….. with benefits.
(ESO) Ondoth:
A leather working enthusiast and my Vestige’s husband.
(ESO) Zhaari-Sa:
A senche-raht that works odd jobs, and my Vestige’s friend.
Kaj-Mota:
Kaj exists … I love him.. I have no idea when he exists in the timeline tho. He’s pretty so there that. Idk. Big ol floofy man who likes to hunt.
Suna’raleyr & Aniayifir:
Siblings… both merchants and craftsmen. They live in the shivering isles. Ania says they live there for good reasons.. something about it being great for the imagination. They can occasionally be found on nirn, and are the ones who built my Dragonborn’s enchanted lute.
The ‘Wraith Fucked Up Her Old Timeline’ Characters:
Fahlthahrk:
I mean… at least someone is angry about that bullshit that Ice Wraith left behind. Fahl is a dwemer who, due to some fucked up time warping dragon break shenanigans, has been recently moved from an earlier era to this one.
Xayah:
A Khajiiti incarnation of Nerevar’s incarnations. Fahlthahrk’s ally. Azura slammed all the failed incarnates—memories traumas and all—together into a single person… but … Nerevar himself isn’t there... Elvil Vidron is though. In other words… this is not quite the nerevarine. Not yet anyway.
Niryai:
Niryai is not her real name. It’s just what she calls herself. This makes her sound conceited.. she thinks this is funny. She resides within the bounds of Ghost Gate and claims the territory around red mountain isn’t Dagoth’s, but hers. She’s also in possession of two of Kagrenac’s tools, the moon-and-star ring, and is actively holding Nerevar’s soul hostage. The not-quite-nerevarine, Xayah, has to go figure out how to get that stuff back from her.

@drconstellation @sonkitty Thanks for reading and commenting.
@drconstellation I guess I wonder what other demon is important enough at this point to matter? Hastur is not smart enough for this... though he could be involved. I debate with myself whether or not we're going to see in S3 that Maggie encountered him when she went to get milk and came back determined to suddenly talk to Crowley & Aziraphale... would go with Hastur and Sister Theresa in S1 and how Maggie ends S2 in that eerie, unconscious-looking position the same as Sister Theresa did in S1. (I know Maggie is supposed to be asleep at the end of S1 and well might be but that she doesn't actually appear to be breathing in the shot, like she wasn't in the parallel in S1. That, along with the fact that Nina looking at Crowley through glass as he leaves is also a parallel to both times the camera held on Sister Mary while Crowley walked away in S1.... it just creeps me out in a good way lol and I'm still kind of debating what I think It All Means but I'm pretty sure the answer is "nothing good" and ties to The Devil.)
I'm not super-familiar with 'The Curious Incident of the Dog at Night-time' so I'd be interested to learn more about that, especially if you're saying that there's a dog that doesn't bark that's key. The Hell Hound in S1 is also, imo, a parallel to Crowley in a lot of ways so I'm intrigued.
The end of S2 is the big, climatic moment of a three act play, basically. That's another reason why I'm convinced it's Aziraphale's fall because that feels almost inevitable at this point and it setting up the last season makes sense to me.
I agree with both of you on "The Metatron's" coat being so dark as to basically look light black in every scene as being important. Even Sandalphon-- who is basically Bigotry: The Character-- wears tans. "The Metatron" showing up in dark colors is a major red flag. I don't really think the pockets have much to do with it. The doors, though, @sonkitty? YES. Absolutely, yes. I think the doors are everything. From the first shot after Before the Beginning being the bookshop front door to the final moment of the elevator in The Dirty Donkey doorway and all of this and much more in between:
I'll also throw something else in here that probably could have gone in the "Wrong Boy" meta but it's really dark so I left it out but it's actually kind of a good "clue" so... TW for SA for the rest of this post.
I wrote about this Dagon line in another meta but not how it ties to "The Metatron"... in the group scene, before the arrival of "The Metatron", when the angels and demons are arguing over who should get to choose how Gabriel and Beez are punished, Shax demands of Michael that they be handed over to her to be delivered "as gifts for Our Master, Satan." Dagon-- head of The Dark Council and not known for having a filter lol-- has her most significant line of the season and it's somewhat surprising and very disturbing. She says that Satan "wouldn't want" Gabriel and Beez except "maybe as hors d'ouerves."
No one argues with Dagon's assessment; they all subtly agree with her. Crowley is out of the bookshop when this conversation takes place-- he is coming back in from taking Maggie and Nina outside on the end of Dagon saying "hors d'ouerves" but did not hear anything about Satan. Rape is not about sex-- it's about power-- but Dagon's comment is so horrifying because of the show constantly using food to talk about sex and then basically correlating rape in this way, in a scene that is structured to remind of Crowley and Satan. Then, moments later, this happens...
That line is already kinda squicky and weird if that's The Metatron, right? It already has this darkness to it and it feels like it has a weight that's hard to pin down if you think it's The Metatron... but if that's Satan saying that? To Aziraphale? With Crowley basically frozen staring at nothing in the chair a few feet away? Jesus...
Wrong Boy
What Bildad the Shuite, Mr. Dalrymple and Warlock's birthday party can tell us about what's going on in the 2.06 Final 15. Another post in a series about how "The Metatron" with Aziraphale at the end of S2 is actually Satan.
Warlock Dowling. The kid Crowley and Aziraphale took care of for a few years, believing him to be The Antichrist. Not actually The Antichrist. The wrong boy.
Warlock's 11th Birthday Party. The reason why Crowley and Aziraphale were there was to try again to stop Armageddon. Hell was supposed to show up at the party. The Devil was sending a gift to his son-- a dog. The Hell Hound. The gift, once accepted by The Antichrist, was supposed to signal the start of Armageddon.
Crowley and Aziraphale were undercover at the party in an effort to stop Warlock from encountering and naming The Hell Hound and starting the end times as a result... but The Hell Hound was late. The moment that results in them realizing they got it all wrong starts out with dialogue that is referenced again in S2-- in relation to The Meeting Ball.
Aziraphale followed Crowley out to The Bentley, mortified by having put on a terrible magic show in front of Crowley. Crowley, though, was gentle and caring in his reply. He tried to reassure Aziraphale and gas him up a bit.
Aziraphale: "That was all a bit of a disaster, I'm afraid."
Crowley: "Nonsense. You gave them a party to remember. Last one they'll ever have, mind..."
As they're sitting in The Bentley and after communicating with Hell during this scene via the radio, they realize that they fucked it up. The kid they thought was the spawn of The Devil is not actually that. Warlock is not The Antichrist. They had the wrong boy this whole time.
Nonsense. The meaning of "balderdash" and "piffle"-- the words spoken by "The Metatron" when he first arrives in 2.06. The first word of what Crowley said to Aziraphale in the "wrong boy" scene.
The gift for the "son". The Hell Hound. The Coffee.
A disaster termed "a night to remember": The Titanic.
The Titanic. Big ship, first of its kind. Hit iceberg. Was thought to be unsinkable. Turns out, it could very much sink. Angels can be tempted. They can sink-- can fall-- to the bottom of the ocean floor. Aziraphale falling is "The Titanic" of his story and the story overall.
If Warlock's birthday party = The Meeting Ball, then Crowley and Aziraphale have the "wrong boy" once again at the end of S2.
Instead of Warlock being mistaken for The Devil's son, "The Metatron" is really The Devil... who appears in the form of the closest thing Aziraphale has to a father-- The Metatron.
"My Heart Will Go On." Theme song from the film 'Titanic' and on Aziraphale's playlist for S2. Uh oh...
Then, there's this:
"It will be a night to remember!" Aziraphale, describing his then-upcoming Meeting Ball in an episode-ending bit of important dialogue while pointing Upwards, foreshadowing both Crowley going Up and Aziraphale's "going Up to get Down" that happens at the end of this Titanic hitting the iceberg. Crowley will actually wind up trying to keep most of the partygoers from not remembering as much of the events of this party as possible... ironically, since Aziraphale says "a night to remember" to Crowley in reference to the kind thing Crowley said to him about the kids being happy to remember Warlock's birthday party.
The next morning, Crowley will use dialogue that references Warlock's birthday party again... either consciously or unconsciously. Either way, it's a dialogue reference to it for us to notice... and it makes sense that Warlock's party would fit into 2.06's Final 15 here because the dialogue we're talking about is from a scene that's actually after the party... and this is all taking place after, well, a party.
The dialogue shows up here:
Crowley: "Oh, I know you. Last time I saw you, you were a giant, floating head, mind."
Welcome to the only other scene in the series in which Crowley has used "mind" at the end of a sentence but for the casual time he did post-Warlock's birthday party. It's calling our attention to the late Hell Hound not arriving at that party... in the moment that "The Metatron" has just arrived here, in the aftermath of the mirrored party.
The Devil himself is here this time.
It might also be worth noting that when Crowley and Aziraphale figure out that Warlock is the wrong boy, it's because of Crowley having just spoken to Hell via the radio in The Bentley... which is also how Satan attacked Crowley in 1.01. Those two scenes are then tied together and both of them are in play in 2.06.
The show also takes pains to call the meeting a "party" several times. Besides Aziraphale saying "we're having a ball", the character who is of The Devil and whose actions let The Devil Himself into the bookshop-- Shax-- twice refers to what's going on as "a party." When she arrives: "how sweet-- they're having a party" and, later, she corrects Mr. Brown of Brown's World of Carpets when he says that what is going on is a meeting. She tells him that it's not a meeting because they were "dancing." That it's a party is referenced several times, further drawing correlation between the climax of S2 and Warlock's 11th Birthday Party.
Crowley-- a demon-- is called upon by "The Metatron" to identify him to everyone else after every single other being in the room fails to recognize him. Every single other being in the room besides Crowley is an angel and *all* of them fail to recognize this being as The Metatron. Every one of them. How can five angels fail to recognize the leader of Heaven? Maybe because that's not actually the leader of Heaven? Maybe because The Devil had to get someone he can control-- and we've seen that he can control Crowley in 1.01-- to tell everyone else that he's The Metatron... which is exactly what happens in this scene?
Crowley identifies the being in such a way that the other angels see him as The Metatron. No one questions him. Rather hilariously, since angels who don't like Crowley are in the room, everyone just believes him and takes what he says at face value. This includes Michael, who has now done this twice-- they also did this during the Job minisode, which we'll look at in a moment.
Michael (gloriously bitchy, asking THE question): "And who are you?"
The context clues suggesting this being's fake identity that led everyone to believe it after its reveal were planted by "The Metatron" upon his arrival... and that's familiar, too. We've seen that one before... Crowley did it earlier in the season.
Remember where we saw that and another significant who are you? one before?
Here, with Sitis:
Crowley gives Sitis suggestion as to who he will appear to be to her, even if they've never met before. Who is he? He's "an old friend, here to offer some comfort." Sitis is having A Day over here and is somewhat resistant at first to influence and she's never met this being before so she naturally has this question:
She's paralleling Michael in 2.06 here. All who are you and why are you interrupting me? I'm a bit busy over here... and what did Crowley say?
"You tell me." Crowley gave her the answer he wanted and when Sitis was resistant and Crowley needed to get to the kids to save them, he influenced her so she'd help him get to who he wanted instead of standing in his way. Crowley seeks to protect the kids, obviously. He has the opposite motivation of Satan in 2.06 but the methods are the same.
Sitis falls under Crowley's suggestion at "you tell me"-- she responds normally-enough but there's enough of her reaction at the start that shows that her mind is being influenced. She gets a little quiet, her eyes widen, she's staring for a brief moment... kinda like Crowley in the chair before he speaks in after "The Metatron"'s arrival in 2.06. Crowley was in Sitis' mind and made her say back to him what he'd told her to say:
"Bildad" quite literally means "old friend" so Sitis basically regurgitates Crowley's "just an old friend" by translating it into a name in her mind. Crowley's "sure" is comedic but this is also an example of Crowley using magical influence over someone-- one of two that happens in S2. In both times, Crowley's use of it is benign in overall intent but it's still not really with the full awareness of the person he's using it on.
This kind of power when used by The Devil, though? Yikes...
The second time we see Crowley do this is with Mister Dalrymple. And what did Crowley suggest-- at Aziraphale's request-- that Mister Dalrymple do? So that Aziraphale could have time to try to lure Mister Dalrymple into his way of thinking-- though the opposite wound up being true?
Invite them to stay and have a chat... over a drink.
A chat over a wee tipple of whiskey. That moment has a paralleling friend in 2.06, too...
A chinwag over a large oat milk latte with a dash/hefty jigger of almond syrup...
Now, we're also referencing The Resurrectionist minisode in The Final 15. You know, the one where Crowley is dragged back to Hell in Edinburgh... the same place Aziraphale went to alone during S2. When asked where Aziraphale was during that time by Shax, Crowley replied that Aziraphale was:
Stocktaking. In the basement. On the surface, this is an excuse Crowley gives Shax to explain why she can't see Aziraphale through the window of the shop while Aziraphale is in Edinburgh. Shax clearly doesn't buy it and tracks down Aziraphale in The Bentley on his way back from Scotland. But this is also a metaphor on two different levels.
The first is that Crowley was dragged back to Hell in Edinburgh in 1827 and that Hell is the basement of the whole Heaven/Hell skyscraper office situation. Edinburgh is Hell is "the basement" to Crowley. While Aziraphale was there, he was working on some of his trauma related to 1827-- taking stock of what he had and where he was at in order to move forward. Aziraphale going to Edinburgh actually is Aziraphale metaphorically "stocktaking in the basement"... it's just that it also potentially foreshadows that once Shax actually gets through that door, it's the start of how Aziraphale is going to wind up doing some further stocktaking in the actual basement that is Hell.
Jump back to Sitis for a moment. Why does Sitis say "Shuite"? It's more important than it seems.
We already looked at why she says "Bildad"-- it's because of Crowley's "old friend"-- but why does she say "the Shuite"? It's not what Crowley said this time, so much as what he did-- jumping into her mind.
Remember later when Crowley uses a homophone-- "Shu-ite" and "shoes"-- and cracks this joke:
Crowley says "shoes" and Michael says "the land of Shua" but Bildad is Bildad "the Shuite" because Sitis was trying to say the other word that's a homophone for "shoes" and "Shu-a" here: "shoo."
Was there was a part of Sitis that was aware of Crowley in her mind was telling him to get out, to leave, to go... or was the fact that she had been trying to get Crowley to leave before he influenced her a factor in how she came up with his identity?
It shows that a person under suggestion by a supernatural being in Good Omens is forced to say and do whatever that being is forcing them to say or do but they might have some mild level of resistance where their words are concerned, if they can find a way to do so. Crowley was not exerting a terribly powerful influence over Sitis because he prefers to not do this at all. But The Devil himself is not going to have any such qualms... and we've been shown in 1.01 that when he takes over Crowley, Crowley really can't resist the influence. Still, he might have been trying, since The Devil needed him to speak and it was Aziraphale in the crosshairs.
And, of course, back in 2.06, The Big Damn Villain Music in the score goes insane at this moment here when "The Metatron" looks at Crowley without Aziraphale noticing-- a look that can be interpreted not just as a glare but as instructions. It's what keeps Crowley in the bookshop. It furthers the suggestion that "The Metatron" is magically influencing Crowley and since Crowley's main contribution is to identify him as The Metatron, well... casts some serious doubt over the idea that this is anybody but the one being who can exert that kind of control over Crowley-- Satan.
Now, go back to Crowley and to "...last time I saw you, you were a giant, floating head, mind."
Aziraphale doesn't totally seem to realize it but the events of the previous night letting everyone into the bookshop has, well, let everyone into the bookshop. Aziraphale thinks of the bookshop as a safe haven where Crowley's concerned and, until The Meeting Ball, it was. But Shax allowed in tipped the dominoes and now means that the bookshop is now overrun, all of Hell can get in, and Crowley's no longer safe from Satan while inside the bookshop.
"...giant, floating head, mind" isn't just about Warlock's birthday party.
It's a reference to The Devil taking over Crowley's mind in 1.01.
It's a reference to that for us and, if Crowley is able to resist at all or is trying to on some level, then it's an equivalent to Sitis saying "Shuite" in an attempt to say "shoo"-- it's a word Crowley is choosing sneaking out in the influence that Satan has over him in that moment. He's screaming wrong boy wrong boy wrong boy and he's in my mind beneath the calmer way that Satan is having him identify him to everyone as The Metatron and hoping Aziraphale will get it.
Everyone believes Crowley when he says the being before them all is The Metatron because the reveal of it makes sense with the clues laid out by what "The Metatron" has said upon his arrival. Old British white guy-sounding being? Using old language-- "balderdash", "complete piffle"? Being a smarmy, patronizing dick towards Michael? Yeah, that sounds like The Metatron... enough that everyone doesn't stop to notice what else this being says the moment he has them all convinced. Phrases like "spit spot"... the signature line of the Hell-aligned 'Mary Poppins'... but we'll look at all the 'Mary Poppins' in end of S2 in another meta.
Back to our next bit of dialogue referencing signifying the presence of The Devil in 2.06. That is "go on." Whether this is just a clue to us from the other scene or whether it's also Crowley, trying to resist the influence to try to warn Aziraphale is interpretable but, either way, when Crowley stays put and doesn't seem to notice Aziraphale silently trying to get Crowley to come with him and The Metatron, there's this dialogue:
Crowley: "Go on. Day can't get any weirder."
Weird means strange, unexpected, unnatural... Something's wrong, something's wrong, something's wrong is what Crowley's basically saying. But it's the "go on" that's the real 👀 because of what it references from earlier in the season...
Remember this?
Crowley: "Go on. Have an ox rib."
Yeah, that's a direct dialogue comparison that calls what "The Metatron" is doing with Aziraphale temptation... which means "The Metatron" is The Devil.
Gabriel showed up in S2 and what he could remember was a quote from The Book of Job-- something God said that night Crowley and Aziraphale found her speaking "to Job" (really: to them, but it's unclear if they've figured that out yet.) God warned at the beginning of S2 that Aziraphale needs to remember the Job minisode something fierce for what's to come. He's being tested. He's being tempted. The Devil shows up in 2.06 to tempt him... and it parallels the ox rib scenes by both echoing and inverting it, like the mirror that it is.
Angels actually can be tempted but that's not really what Crowley was doing in Job's cellar. The ox rib scene is actually about consent. Let's look at the start of it.
As the storm started in 2500 B.C., Crowley started pouring wine. He poured two glasses and offered Aziraphale one. Aziraphale did not take it.
Aziraphale did not take it because Aziraphale, at the time, was not interested in wine. He didn't wish to drink. "The Metatron" manipulates Aziraphale's emotions when it comes to the coffee. He preys on Aziraphale's need to be polite and on how afraid Aziraphale is of The Metatron. Aziraphale has never had any such fear of Crowley-- he hilariously was pretty direct about his distaste for wine back in Job's cellar. The Devil gets Aziraphale to take the coffee by manipulating his trauma but Satan's minister Crowley? Back in 2500 BC? He didn't push Aziraphale to drink.
The ox rib scene is actually about choice and consent. It's important to Crowley that Aziraphale feel safe with him. When Aziraphale expresses that he doesn't want to drink and doesn't want to get drunk, Crowley is fine with that and offers food instead, pointing out that you can't get drunk on food. He's a little mischievous and dry when replying that "angels can't be tempted" to Aziraphale's question of whether or not Crowley was trying to tempt him but it's because he's actually not. He's trying to have a little date with the angel, not get him to fall to Hell. He likes him. He's amused that Aziraphale is finding the offers of food and drink to be tempting-- that he's into it and wants to give something a try. There's no manipulation, just the offer of it.
It's Aziraphale's own choice to try the ox rib. He chooses to take it.
He chooses to try something new and see things a little differently and spend some time with Crowley. It's a healthy choice. It's the polar opposite of the choice Aziraphale makes when The Devil offers him the one thing he wants: a way within his control to be with Crowley forever.
The conversations at Marguerite's that Aziraphale has in S2 are interconnected. He sits at a table there separately twice-- once with Crowley and once with The Devil. Again, Crowley offers Aziraphale a glass of wine-- this time now thousands of years after Aziraphale rejected the first offer of one. Aziraphale drinks now. He and Crowley have shared a thousand bottles of wine since.
They never get to food. Aziraphale doesn't actually eat in the present at all in S2. (Which is the whole damn problem lol.) Doesn't have an eccles cake. Doesn't dine at The Ritz. No vol-au-vents at The Meeting Ball. And, at Marguerite's, he doesn't have a glass of wine and a little late lunch with Crowley. He has one sip of tea in the present for the entirety of S2 before That Damn Coffee-- to try to teach Muriel to do what Aziraphale has actually been rejecting while being in his Heavenly feelings during S2. The healthy choice is actually some food, a glass of wine, and Crowley... not a trauma-loaded coffee from The Devil.
Crowley and Aziraphale joke about temptation where each other is concerned and it's off of the scene in Job's cellar. We've seen it in Rome in 41 AD and we've seen it in the S1 finale in 2019. This is what temptation between them looks like:
They can poke fun at the idea of it because their relationship is built on the idea that they see each other as individual people who make individual choices and that Heaven and Hell don't own them. They own themselves and they choose to share themselves with one another. It's the opposite of the manipulation of temptation, which is why it both parallels how Aziraphale falls prey to The Devil-- by how he does being the opposite of what he has with Crowley-- and why it's over Crowley that Aziraphale falls in the first place... not because loving him is "bad"... for the exact opposite of that. Because loving him is good and it's not loving him to try to find a solution to their problems by saying that the people who have harmed the two of them should come first. That's the point-- no nightingales.
Aziraphale doesn't want power. He doesn't want to run Heaven-- he rejected that first attempt to tempt him by The Devil. He doesn't want to go back. He wants to stay on Earth and live his life with Crowley and he wants so much to never be apart from Crowley. The two things that Aziraphale wants most in the world are both related to Crowley-- he wants to be with him forever and he wants Heaven to admit that they fucked up and that Crowley is good.
Aziraphale already knows Crowley is good. He loves him as he is. He's just furious at Heaven and at The Metatron for what they've done to the being he loves and he's incensed at God for allowing it. Aziraphale has been an angel this whole time and, in his mind, he's been powerless to do anything to fix this. He can't stop Crowley's pain over falling-- over the fact that he still feels like he's unforgivable in the eyes of God. He can't stop him from being hurt by Hell. And Aziraphale has had that rage on simmer for 6,000 years.
His every "I forgive you" is an attempt at, since he's an angel of Heaven, trying to give Crowley what he needs and can't get from Heaven... and Crowley knows it is but he hates it because what he truly wants and needs is just Aziraphale himself. Aziraphale's love is enough.
All Aziraphale wants is for Heaven to admit they fucked up because he thinks forgiveness from God will help Crowley. He thinks it will make this better:
If Crowley were an angel again, would that stop the pain that Aziraphale can't stop? Aziraphale wonders if it might. Because he can't stop it. He's tried. He's not enough. It's a lot of pain to watch the being you love still suffer and try to do what you can to make it stop but to not be enough-- Crowley and Aziraphale both know what that feels like.
The solution is not to run away and it's not to go to Heaven. It's to just make like Gabriel and Beez and choose to live their lives together. If enough people say "nah" to Armageddon, there's no Armageddon. You can't have a war without war. Aziraphale doesn't understand that at the end of S2 yet, though, so when The Devil shows up in the form of the abusive dad who never loved him and basically says:
You know, you were right-- we need people like you. The way you live isn't a sin. I made a mistake. You could come back to Heaven and show us how to be better-- how to do things your way. You could bring your husband. We can all be a family. He can be an angel again and you'll never again have to worry that you'll lose him. You can be together forever...
This is all Aziraphale has ever wanted. The angel who was losing his mind hosting a party for the first time the night before-- one where his human friends and Gabriel mingled together and where everyone knew Crowley was his and they got to dance together like everyone else-- well, that angel is tempted as all fuck.
He falls for (falls in love with) Crowley and he falls (falls from Heaven) for Crowley.
It started, in part, with an arrival at the door. Not "The Metatron"'s arrival. Bildad's much happier, paralleling one:
This is also a note to us: remember him-- Bildad the Shuite. It's important that we do if we want to understand what comes later when a group of people, some of them angels, can't recognize who just came through the door... for the second scene in this season.
Right on cue to ask the Big Damn Question in 2500 B.C. was the first arrival at the bookshop door in S2 and the character most representing Aziraphale's inner struggles in S2... and the one who had been sent away for his own good by the point that The Devil arrives in 2.06...
Gabriel, asking THAT question: "Aziraphale, who is this?"
Aziraphale:
He. Says. He. Is. God told Aziraphale to remember this but he seems to have forgotten that he and Crowley cloaked Crowley's real identity for greater good purposes but the opposite of that could just as easily happen. He didn't really listen to the messenger God sent him-- Gabriel, whose name literally means "messenger"-- when he told Aziraphale to remember Job and so Aziraphale didn't recognize The Devil when he, like Bildad before him, came through the door.
In a sweet way, it's because he so loves Crowley that he doesn't really see him as demonic and so couldn't make a connection between Bildad and "The Metatron."
The Body Swap. Crowley and Aziraphale each pretending to be one another to survive the end of S1. They fooled everyone around them by looking like someone they, technically, are not. In both cases, they were forced into suicide by Heaven/Hell-- by getting into a bath of holy water and by stepping into flames of hellfire-- and survived it because neither of them actually were who they said they were.
Aziraphale's fall parallels the body swap plot as it's a fall of despair.
"We call it 'The Second Coming'." Aziraphale knows who was really at the door in this moment. He knows that there is no Supreme Archangel job, no promises of safety and an eternal life with Crowley. There never was. He made the wrong choice. He let his despair rule him and now the fall he thought was coming in 2500 B.C. is actually here.
Upon realizing that he's been fooled-- has played himself for a sucker, as is the case with negative thought cycles-- Aziraphale steps into the elevator.
S1-- they save each other from being killed by Heaven and Hell in methods that look like forcing them to kill themselves.
S2-- Aziraphale effectively tries to kill himself by getting into the elevator, now knowing who it is who is holding open the door.
He knows the likelihood of his memories being erased is high, which makes choosing to get into the elevator a form of suicide.
Banana, fish, gorilla, shoelace, with a dash of nutmeg. Aziraphale's mantra. His magic words. In the bookshop attack and through the end of S2, though... a banana peel thrown at Maggie. Shax referencing "the sushi." Only the banana and the fish are here.
The Bananafish. A short story by J.D. Salinger about PTSD, trauma and suicide. After some short interactions with a girl representing a daughter-like figure to the main character (Maggie, in Good Omens, who kicks off Aziraphale's S2 plot and provides his motivations throughout)-- the seemingly-fine man who is actually a traumatized war veteran suffering from PTSD suddenly and quickly succumbs to the pain he carries around and the cycle of negative thoughts he suffers and shoots himself dead.

Headcanon: Izuku is into DIY.
Hot Take: Izuku would create a long furby. He has a collection of various eldritch creepy long furbies. Katsuki absolutely refuses to go into his room because of them. He would've exploded them by now but that would make Izuku cry.
Other CursedTM Things that Izuku does that makes Katsuki die inside and that Katsuki tries to hide from the rest of Class 1-A:
He's a part of the Vulture Culture community and collects roadkill and dead animals to turn into bones.
He has a collection of shitty All Might hawaiian shirts.
He has a collection of stuffed animals. They all have names ripped from Lovecraft such as "Yawgsathoth" and "Mother of Pus"
He writes fanfiction of the heroes.
He has a giant worm on a string plush, and his room is also decorated with Worms on Strings (you have no idea how much Katsuki had to bribe him not to add worms on strings to his uniform blazer)
He does have a plague doctor mask and will regularly just go out in a cloak and his mask
He cosplays exclusively female heroes, and crossdresses the worst dresses
He basically does art makeup, on his face and the face of Katsuki
"Hey what are you reading?" "Oh, this book on how to cook frogs."
He will eat anything. Including stuff that is on the ground. He has an iron stomach.
The actual reason Izuku hangs up All Might everywhere (it used to be a mix of all heroes) is because once in middle school Katsuki accused him of being straight, so he put him up everywhere and continued the habit, Katsuki hates his room now
- Goblin Anon (otherwise known as Goblin anon projects everything she does or wants to do onto her fav)
HI GOBLIN!!! GENUINELY SCREAMED AT THIS AU BECAUSE WTF
even i would not want to enter the beloved’s (izuku’s) room because of his shit.
i’ve searched up long furbys and i am, simply put, traumatized. i had a collection of furbys when i was a kid but we had to give them away because there’s too much of them. but long furbys? i am very much scared.
there’d be a picture of a long furby under the cut, and i’m genuinely terrified of the fucker.
also, can i just say that izuku writing fanfictions is the least cursed thing that he does? because like, reading the rest is like looking at that picture where you can’t decipher a single thing because, again, wtf izuku.
but they’re also funnier? creepier? because i can genuinely see izuku doing those dhekdoowks
✄┈┈┈
this shit would probably be snaking around the frames of izuku’s door. or he probably has one at the corner of his wall, the one that meets with the ceiling, and when a visitor looks up, they’re greeted by the sight of this centipede looking furby that has additional four eyes that izuku lovingly and carefully sewn on. it’s so nightmarish :’)
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
the vulture culture part started when they were young. his interest started when he saw a documentary on how to pin butterflies and he was like, “you know what? thats actually something i want to do!” but! BUT!! he cannot catch a butterfly, thus he settled for mounting dragonflies which he collected in the nearby stream (where katsuki fell).
fun fact about mounting dragonflies: they lose colours when they’re dead. you can use acetone to not only help preserve its colours, but also to stop its decay. they decay so quickly, it’s terrible.
anyways, izuku does not know that and instead followed a youtube video of how to mount dragonflies, using an old picture frame as the case.
inko comes home, sees his son doing his stuff and is just happy that izuku’s not rewatching that loud all might video. she helps him pin the other wings and they are fascinated at how pretty they look. well, the next day, the wings are now transparent and the belly side of the dragonflies are black. it also stinks so they had to throw the whole thing plus the case.
izuku’s fascination grows from there.
a failed experiment, after all, instigates the desire to right them.
so that’s where he starts: butterflies, moths, beetles, another dragonfly case.
katsuki is fascinated and disgusted because, “why would you want dead insects in your room, deku?”
the rest began when the bakugou’s and the midoriya’s have road trips. inko doesn’t have a car so the bakugou’s drive along with them, and it’s a good day. the kids are having fun and getting along, and the parents are chilling and enjoying their vacation. life is good.
then on their drive home, izuku, who is sitting sandwiched between katsuki and inko, lets out this blood-curdling scream. it wakes katsuki up and almost had masaru swerving the car out of the highway.
“maru-san (because my boy izuku cannot say masaru) can you please stop the car! i wanna get that!” he screams, pointing at something indecipherable by the side of the roads.
masaru does anyways because it’s so rare for izuku to request something, but also his heart’s still pumping so fast after izuku’s scream.
masaru wasn’t even done stopping the engine when the car doors are opening, and katsuki and izuku are tumbling out, hand-in-hand. masaru and inko follow them closely, while mitsuki stayed to watch over the car.
katsuki’s excited for an adventure, but then izuku just. stops them. in front of a skull.
masaru chokes from behind them and katsuki lets go of izuku’s hand so fast, running back to his dad because, again, “deku what the shit?”
izuku ignores him and gestures at the deer skull, one that has moss growing by the teeth and around the jaw, turning to inko to ask, “mama? can we bring that home?”
masaru feels very faint, but doesn’t say anything when inko easily agrees, laughing at her boy and patting his untameable hair as if your child asking you for a carcass’s skull is normal.
inko picks it up and they go back to the car. mitsuki does a double-take on what inko’s holding, but shushes up when she saw izuku bouncing happily. katsuki hesitantly sits beside izuku, but when izuku began yammering about all might, he forgets about the skull and nerds out with izuku.
inko explains to mitsuki and masaru about her son’s newfound interest, telling them that it’d go away in two years, don’t worry.
it didn’t. instead, his interest and his collection grew. so for his subsequent birthdays, along with hero merch, he has vulture culture collections gifted to him.
when he moved to the dorms, they’re more packaged than his hero merch and katsuki wants to get angry because he’s been looking for those limited hero merch and yet there they are, chilling beside izuku’s many many skulls and bones.
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
IZUKU STARTED COLLECTING THE ALL MIGHT HAWAIIAN SHIRTS WHEN HE WAS TWELVE
he ransacked for the very first edition, often saving his allowance just so he can buy the retro versions of the all might hawaiian shirts. sometimes he’d barter, but that’s only when he’s really desperate for the shirts. usually he’d just be in an auction site and buy just those.
he’d take katsuki with him and katsuki is very careful in what to buy, often researching the things and having a very long pros and cons list to narrow down what he’d buy, then his best bud izuku just out there buying all might hawaiian shirts.
funniest thing too is that those are the first to go because they? don’t value much? and they’re ugly, tbh, and yet izuku’s slurping them all up.
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
the first time class 1a were talking about plushies, izuku dropped the names and they’re confused because-
“bro did you name your plushies with lovecraft names?” OR “bro? do you perhaps have personalized lovecraft toys?”
it’s the earlier one but izuku would want to buy personalized lovecraft monster toys.
ok but? he names them as per the appropriate lovecraft characters? like:
a purple octopus plushie is called azathoth.
a green gecko plushie is called bokrug.
a fish plushie (literally nemo) is called dagon instead of nemo.
a pink jellyfish plushie is mother of pus.
he has other plushies that have normal names (well, as normal as naming a plushie “cheese grater”), but he has a collection of specific plushies that align with lovecraft beings.
he writes all might x reader fanfictions, i’m sorry ;v;
he only writes them because he doesn’t want other heroes with all might, but also the reader pairing gets more views than all might with other heroes.
katsuki caught him writing a slowburn, enemies to lovers all might x reader fanfic and proceeded to proofread it for him.
synopsis of the fanfiction: reader is a villain with a sound quirk (tailored to present mic’s quirk) and all might met them in a hero gala where the reader pretended to be a worker so that they could infiltrate the gala’s holder’s office for a specific banking access that is linked to the world’s bank. all might manages to sniff them out and proceeds to fight them, but when a beam is about to hit the reader, all might swoops in and saves them. cue the reader developing unwanted feelings for their greatest foe, all might.
aND THEN!!! all might knows the reader outside of their villain persona and is actually very much taken by them. so it’s a painful surprise that the reader is a villain. but he is willing to save them.
it is still incomplete despite having 102 chapters. by chapter 78, katsuki asked for payment because shit was too long and too angsty.
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
HEISOSL IZUKU HAS A WORM ON A STRING DOOR CURTAIN
he genuinely likes them but creating the door curtain kind of extinguished that interest because that’s just too much worms and too much strings for a single curtain, and it was very much tiring.
he has a tiny one stitched on his blazer and inko heaved this really big sigh when she saw that her son’s crisp UA uniform got a worm by the chest pocket.
aizawa eyed it once and was so close to expelling izuku just because of that.
shouto, when they became friends, sends a box of them to izuku because he thought that those are izuku’s favourite. katsuki had not stopped cackling when he saw the huge box of them.
to punish katsuki, he made a furby with worm hair and left it by katsuki’s door. katsuki’s scream woke everyone up.
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
the moment he walked out with a plague mask, tokoyami was exiting his dorm room too and they made a long eye contact.
tokoyami does not know if he is amazed by izuku’s plague mask or he is terrified because why does it look authentic.
for halloween, he was a plague doctor.
he stowed them away after saving eri.
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
his first women hero cosplay was in third grade when they had a play about different heroes. the girl who was playing ragdoll got sick and everyone’s already strapped in as their hero and unwilling to change. izuku, himself, is present mic (katsuki’s all might).
the girls don’t want to give up their heroes and izuku, the bestest boy, goes and says he will become ragdoll.
their teacher agrees and helps him strap in as ragdoll and you know what, izuku loves it.
from then on, he tries to cosplay as much women heroes that he can afford. inko loves helping him and katsuki thinks he is adorable but! dont tell deku!!!
OK BUT he wore the dress that broke the internet once and katsuki almost exploded the dress off him. almost because izuku dodged and warned him that if he ever breaks that dress, katsuki will have to pay (either monetary or revenge, katsuki doesn’t know so he behaved).
FOR HALLOWEEN, HE WORE THIS AND KATSUKI HATES IT
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
izuku painting star freckles on his face!!!! or heart freckles!!!! or flowers!!!!
izuku in fairy makeup, pleaseee!
he also loves giving katsuki his own freckles because something about blonde hair and red eyes with pale cheeks kissed by freckles is making izuku gay panic.
izuku putting concealer on his own freckles once and his classmates are looking at him weirdly, wondering why he looks off?
like he still looks amazing, but something’s missing. it’s fucking them up and katsuki isn’t helping them so they’re trying to piece what’s up.
it takes monoma sneering at izuku and asking where his eight freckles are that 1a realizes why he looks different.
ok but denki asking monoma why he knows how much freckles izuku has and monoma spluttering, bright red and embarrassed, until he just walks away.
(answer: he’s crushing on green bean).
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
IZUKU HAVING A COLLECTION OF LIKE ARCHAIC? BREWING? STUFF? BOOKS.
i dont know how to explain it but my friend has this specific book about poisons, detailing recipes and ingredients.
it also talks about the use of frogs, lizards, snakes. the benefits of different flowers (ones with toxins) and how to use them during tea time.
it’s bizarre but the book looks pretty so i think izuku would have a handful of those in his room.
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
izuku eating grass? flowers? trying dandelions and complaining that it’s furry
izuku wandering what a twig tastes like so he just sucks on it like a lollipop.
inko gave up on stopping him because her son would just eat anything but his broccolis, and she’s very much tired of thinking if izuku would have an upset stomach. he never had.
first time mitsuki saw izuku do that, she forced him to drink cola and eat candy to cleanse his palette.
katsuki goads him on eating more.
izuku’s favourite is chewing on maple leaves. he’s just a weird boy.
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
OK BUT THE FINAL ONE ABOUT HIS ALL MIGHT POSTERS?? I HAVENT STOPPED LAUGHINGF
izuku wanting more all might figurines than posters. he only has some chemistry stuff (periodic table) on his wall, a little tapestry that matches inko’s, a canvas of monet’s water lilies (again, matching inko), and some cosmic facts that he bought online.
and yk katsuki sees those and thinks that it’s so weird that izuku has those posters but not all might?
his first thought was, “he doesn’t like all might as much as i do.”
the following one is, “he’s straight so he doesn’t want a guy’s face on his wall.”
katsuki’s mouth so happens to say the second one and the next week he visited izuku’s room again, each surface of the wall that is not taken by pinned insects and his frog-book stuff, plus his other existing non-hero posters, is covered in just all might posters.
he belatedly realizes that his own face is also on izuku’s wall, but that’s for later musings because for now he’s jealous that izuku managed to scourge the limited all might posters, but also is disgusted a bit because that’s too much all might.
katsuki walks out before his interest in all might plummets.
